Required qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health or related field required, advanced degree a plus
  • Minimum 7- 10 years experience in operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) accreditations, preferred
  • Experience with pharmaceutical / biotechnology manufacturing equipment, and laboratory system operations (including HVAC).
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams and managing relationships in a collaborative, constructive manner with internal departments and project vendors and partners.
  • Direct reading Industrial hygiene / air monitoring equipment including – though not limited to – toxic gas monitors, LEL detectors, photoionization detectors and oxygen detectors.
  • Experience leading and coordinating laboratory expansions and relocations, laboratory design and redesign, and space management. Construction management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, janitorial and other facility related duties desired.
