Continuous Filtration
A Closer Look at Continuous Filtration
The crystallization slurry is distributed onto a rotating porous plate, where the mother liquor is removed via vacuum filtration. The resulting thin, wet cake (1–6 mm) is passed through multiple modular wash stations that thoroughly purge impurities. After washing, the purified wet cake is transported downstream, while the filter plate is cleaned in line and regenerated for continuous operations. Real-time monitoring of critical process parameters enables effective process control and enhances equipment robustness, sustaining a prolonged state of control.
