Wei is the Director of Engineering, bringing over eight years of progressive leadership in process innovation and continuous manufacturing technologies. He leads the design and development of integrated continuous manufacturing, focusing on core innovations in continuous crystallization, filtration, and drying. These innovations significantly enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.
Previously, as the Associate Director of Engineering and Separation Technology Manager, Wei managed the critical development, scaling, and technology transfer of processes for drug substance manufacturing. His strategic leadership effectively connects research and development (R&D) chemistry methods with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) plant design and execution.
Wei holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University. As a certified Engineer-in-Training, he possesses deep expertise and a proven track record in engineering innovation and execution, which are essential to our manufacturing capabilities.
